Big up to my man Matt, Kickin Pigeon
for dropping Acrelid - Rave Clubs and Things into his Alltrax electro
mix. Once again in esteem company here, UK Electro represent:
Acrelid live at Red Laser's Galactic Bounce at The White Hotel, Salford, Manchester. 06/07/2024.
Red Laser Soundboard/Personal Tascam Crowd Recording of my first ever Live set. It only took 25 years for a serious offer!
It's fair to say it went more than well, except for not pressing record on the tascam until 9 mins in, the crowd fades in 9 mins into the set, oops!
lesson learned. When I get few different live sets recorded and collected, I will do an old school rave tape pack of them all, then the circle will be complete. Rave Tapes Forever!
Big love to the Red Laser Records crew for giving me the chance to shine, listen to this boys! The energy! Amazing sound system and the crowd was well up for it. Shoutout to Red Laser Crew Woody, Adam and Matt. I look forward to working again with you soon! Shoutout to the other acts, Steve Barnett, Rhod Parry and Kickin Pigeon (Cheers for kickin this pigeon on stage! I got the bug now!). Shoutout to Dan the sound engineer for your kind words during the set, it's always a good sign things are sounding as they should :) Could not be happier with how it sounded loud.
Big love to my partner Jenna for sharing and documenting the experience with me. Good times :) x The pictures look awesome.

''The Illegal Rave Tapes Series is a collection of solo electronic recordings by John Lee Richardson under the alias Acrelid.
Recorded at his Mum and Dads, 125 Pelham and Hatcliffe House Studios between the years 1999-2012.
This series of solo electronic tracks, analog jams and experiments in
Braindance/Techno/Jungle/Acid/Breakcore etc....whatever you want to call
it....are the flipside to The Hatcliffe House Tapes Series. Recorded at
the same time (some before) using the same equipment, in the same
studio space.
Most of these recordings where made on cassette and mini disc reflecting the time period they was captured in.''
